I would, unless that fic makes it clear there’s more than one hole (if we’re talking m/m) and then that turns the opposite way real quick. But Butt stuff is basically my FAVORITE stuff, and robots are basically my FAVORITE and HOTTEST thing, so OBVIOUSLY this is a match made in the best of all heavens.

I was fine interpreting ambiguously-coded self-lubricating valves as that, but yeah, honestly I think that every part of the prepwork that goes into that stuff is hot. The extra steps build up the scene and what’s happening, describing lube being applied on things is hot, describing lube being applied in things in any various way is real hot, I feel like both of those do an amazing job of building up the payoff of the bit where they get to the penetration, even if it only ever gets up to fingers. Describing the fingering is almost always super hot whether it’s from the perspective of the party doing the fingering or being on the receiving end of it.

…I do give fics the benefit of the doubt when they go straight for the butt without any of that and no adverse results are mentioned, but I also do like how things are when it specifically describes little to no prep, anything from brief discomfort to full-out pain and, goddammit, I’m an increasingly sadistic masochist and the fact that stuff like that can be done so easily is the fucking best. Arrest me. I know it’s not everyone’s bag, but in my personal experience the way things (w/o good prepwork) literally can start off as “oh god the pain is unbearable I fucked up” then transition to being a mind-blowing full-body thing just a little bit later is my ABSOLUTE JAM.

Also jesus I have a big kink for toys in that context. That seems like it should be way too generic to be a kink but that just ramps things up a lot, especially when it’s not just a solo thing. There’s something about the very deliberate degree of separation between the two (or more) parties, where one (or more) isn’t even doing it for their own immediate physical pleasure. But I feel like I’m getting off track.

I like butts. I like robot buttholes. I read some super old fics where they’re explained as exhaust ports or something and given a little description and actual reason to be there that kinda fleshed the whole deal out, I liked it. 

Asses aren’t even always the nicest and safest places to ram yourself into, but they didn’t really shy away from kind of showing it in the same raw, sloppy, visceral way you get when you watch a low-res video of two hairy truck-driver-looking motherfuckers going at it in a dirty motel on an amateur porn site.
